NOTES: In ways that are continually hard to describe, a Hundred Waters song plays out like a sensual psychedelic drug that’s natural and unfiltered and best taken when raindrops start sliding down your bedroom window. The Gainesville instrumentalists may not be a mirror image of the clothes OWSLA wears, but their shard of electro-folk emits what Skrillex notes as summertime sounds. Between the dapper beauty to “Boreal” and the fact that everyone from Star Slinger to Araabmuzik has remixed their polite flicker of colourful grooves, there’s a lot to dig into.
