MAKE DO AND MEND, SEAHAVEN, YOUNG STATUES

Bridging together various shades of melodic punk, MAKE DO AND MEND, SEAHAVEN and YOUNG STATUES’ latest visit to Toronto showed how moving a live set can be. The three acts weren’t exactly identical to the core but their explosive performances stirred up a few emotions that targeted the heart. The unexpected stage dives and anthemic sing-a-longs were expected but no one anticipated their material to be damaging in a comforting way.
