People And Things (Volume One)

Toronto is a weird place. Between night caps at Wrongbar and weekday bar hops on College Street, you’re bound to uncover the other side to the city, where things get blurry, intimate and bold. That’s why when Tess Parks got in touch with us a few weeks back, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to have her vivid shutter skills provide portraits of long nights with friends and strangers. The first volume for PEOPLE AND THINGS captures a glimpse of gigs by Ty Segall, Christopher Owens and Beliefs. It’s like MTV’s Spring Break  but with real musicians and not fake tweens.

Check out Tess’s Tumblr here and feel free to stalk her on Twitter (@tessnormaparks)
