Upon releasing their self-titled debut in 2011, Portland’s BLOUSE kind of fell in the same toy box that overflowed with warped out indie pop and synth-heavy textures. Now it seems like the trio have been busy finding their voice as their new song, “No Shelter”, sheds some minimal beauty, forcing your taste for music to wrap around every word and guitar strum. Considering UMO’s Jacob Portrait is still on board, you’d be an idiot to not keep tabs on them 24/7.
Blouse’s new record Imperium is out September 17th on Captured Tracks
