Wavves’ Nathan Williams and his bro Kynan have followed-up last year’s triple threat with a 12-track effort titled SV. Just don’t be fooled by its name. Upon a first listen, it’s clear the release flirts with the kind of electronic music that makes people go apeshit at clubs, but like Stay Calm, Eternal Champ and Jenova, it erupts on impulse with sounds that are still synonymous with the name Sweet Valley. “Hypomania”, “Jet Speed” and “Kingdom Of Heaven” are dope favourites, but stream/download the whole thing below and keep an eye out for Kynan’s upcoming mixtape here.
