Based in Brooklyn, NY, LODRO is made up of former Royal Baths members Jeremy Cox and Jigmae Baer and former Friends bassist Lesley Hann, and their project’s sound completely flips the idea of squeaky clean indie rock. Up close, their new A-side burner, “If Life Was Like A Movie” jumps at the opportunity of being complex, mysterious, reckless, and satisfyingly melodic – like a rehashed Jefferson Airplane with wings.
