Have DUM DUM GIRLS ever made a bad record? In our minds, the answer is “no” and there’s already a lot to love about the L.A. group’s follow-up to last year’s End Of Daze. Titled Too True, the album’s introduced by the crushing single “Lost Boys And Girls Club” and it was recorded by Dee Dee Penny who aided the process/vocal issues with “a tall pile of books” and artistic collaborators (Arthur Rimbaud, Patti Smith, Lou Reed). It’s pretty mesmeric so hit play.
Dum Dum Girls’ new record Too True hits stores on January 29th via Sub Pop Records
