In many ways, ANGEL OLSEN’s forthcoming record for Jagjaguwar is a retelling of how spellbinding rock n’ roll can be. It’s full of riffing (“Forgiven/Forgotten”) and mid-tempo jams (“Hi-Five”), and given Olsen’s voice, it’s a treat to see her perform some of those new songs live.
