The whole punk/screamo/emo corner of music isn’t exactly broken, but Gainesville’s FRAMEWORKS are definitely patching it up with new fabric. After last year’s Small Victories EP, the group linked up with producer Jack Shirley to record their debut and the title track “Loom” shows even more promise. It’s a brighter shade of melodic chaos and Luke Pate’s words hit harder, gouging the heart while leaving you torn and weary. The track rules so hit play below.
