It’s already been a big year for TAKING BACK SUNDAY. The Long Islanders honed their skills and fondness for alt heartbreak and it allowed them to solicit a Billboard-worthy, in-your-face record and map out a schedule of sold-out dates. One of them happened to take place at Toronto’s Kool Haus (April 8th) where the band intro’d Happiness Is alongside nostalgia favs THE USED, Sydney’s TONIGHT ALIVE, and Spencer Chamberlain’s project SLEEPWAVE, ultimately descending on-lookers into a cathartic state of being.
