Since releasing their influential debut and polishing their live chops, THE 1975 have proved that they’re better than you perceive them to be. That well-known point made its impact at the Kool Haus on Tuesday (May 6th) as the Manchester art-poppers kicked off Toronto’s CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK with a vogue performance next to their Cali-based indie tourmates BAD SUNS and SIR SLY. Lights teased, rhythm sections crooned, and a few frontmen complimented their dapper looks with intoxicating vocals that breed iTunes sales and personal restocks of mascara.
