Just this past Tuesday (June 3rd), THE MENZINGERS played their first show up north in support of Rented World and punched their own ticket with a better than expected headliner at The Opera House. The real kicker however was seeing the foursome give three basement-friendly bands – LEMURIA, CAYETANA, and Toronto’s PUP – the opportunity to tear through tracks at an 800-plus space. It wasn’t packed as far as the eye could see but it was pretty obvious why the trio have homes at Bridge Nine, Tiny Engines, and SideOneDummy, and the strong shifts in style allowed the ‘Zingers to cruise and completely mangle an audience with a setlist that cannot be put into words.
