Two months removed from the release of their debut for Epitaph, California’s JOYCE MANOR revisited Toronto last Friday (September 12th) and with Aubrey Graham on the list, they sent Hard Luck Bar into a frenzy. The quartet ripped through most of their self-titled (remember “Beach Community”?) and put an emphasis on the strengths of Never Hungover Again – a Joe Reinhardt-produced narrative that’s more addictive than a classic Sundance rom-com. Truthfully, it is a joy to see Barry Johnson and co. play anywhere, especially next to Toronto’s DILLY DALLY and Seattle’s THE EXQUISITES.
