It’s hard to believe ALABAMA SHAKES’ Boys & Girls came out three years ago, but at least a new album is finally on the horizon. In April, the Athens four-piece will release Sound & Color, a 12-track effort that was recorded at the Sound Emporium in Nashville with help from producer Blake Mills (Sky Ferreira, Sara Watkins). Above is the disc’s first single “Don’t Wanna Fight” and it’s enough to chew on before the band’s upcoming tour and dates at Coachella, Field Trip, and Bonnaroo.
Alabama Shakes’ sophomore effort Sound & Color hits stores on April 21st via ATO Records
