To no one’s surprise, Wavelength Music’s Warm-Up Party was literally a warm-up party. The Red Bull Sound Select event took place at frightening temperatures on Thursday (February 12th), but even -13°F couldn’t stop the night’s bill from letting the jams fly at The Garrison. Northampton’s SPEEDY ORTIZ headlined, previewing their new album (see “Raising The Skate”) and a new tour run, while Toronto’s HSY and WISH noised it up with distorted punches and psyched-out dream pop.
