Photos: Every Time I Die, The Used at The Fillmore

On Saturday (April 18th), THE USED and EVERY TIME I DIE continued their 18-date voyage with a stop that DDT’d The Fillmore Detroit into oblivion. The Theatre District space was home to your usual mess of limbs, shouting matches, and hardcore hysteria, but each co-headliner had their day, ultimately ripping apart the word “nostalgia” just to give it a new spin. Bert McCracken and his troop resuscitated their first two albums while covering Refused, and ETID were ETID – chugging through a “complete” set that somehow tore through “No Son Of Mine”, “Underwater Bimbos”, “Moor”, and “Ebolarama”. England’s MARMOZETS also opened with their own pro-prog opus so check out our entire gallery above (via Joel Pilotte).
