There’s no denying his creativity, but as To Pimp A Butterfly has shown, KENDRICK LAMAR is overthrowing everybody in the music video game. His new clip for “Alright” was directed by Colin Tilley and the Little Homies, and it’s full of far out scenes: TDE riding on the shoulders of cops, kids throwing money out of muscle cars, Kendrick levitating along the city streets. It’s a project that gets you thinking – especially with its darker conclusion – and at this point, it’s an undisputed nomination for Video Of The Year. Right up there with “Close Your Eyes” and “Elastic Heart”.
