As most concert-goers will tell you, patience is everything – especially if it involves an opportunity to see INTERPOL completely tear through Antics and Turn On The Bright Lights. On Tuesday (July 14th), the NYC alt savants made up for last year’s snow day by pummeling Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall into submission – rummaging through everything from El Pintor to “PDA” to “Rest My Chemistry”. The group didn’t stray too far from what works, but up close, it’s extremely gratifying to watch a band give it their all – i.e. driving through “All The Rage Back Home” like persistent iterations of Don Draper. Brandon Curtis’ new project COSMICIDE helped open the two-night stint and you check out Steve St. Jean’s photo work above.
