Celebrating a decade of influence, PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL ambushed Chicago’s Union Park on Friday (July 17th) and opened with a casual introduction. Rather than tear the blogosphere a new one, the fest played to its strengths – reviving its “small space, big sound” approach with chilled out sets from the likes of WILCO, CHVRCHES, OUGHT, MAC DEMARCO, ICEAGE, NATALIE PRASS, RYLEY WALKER, and ILOVEMAKONNEN.
