For what it’s worth, it’s hard to top a DISCLOSURE show. The UK duo stopped by Toronto’s Direct Energy Centre on Saturday (October 17th) and simply went for it with a potent mix of club-pop fusion. The headliner wasn’t exactly a Settle rave – i.e. their 2014 US tour – but it had its fangs as the Lawrence brothers shuffled through a lengthy 16-song set – pushing slow jams (“Magnets”, “Willing & Able”), old faves (“You & Me”, “White Noise”), and surprise B2Bs (“Bang That”, “When A Fire Starts To Burn”) that hurt.
