Photos: Circa Survive at Danforth Music Hall

Despite their graphic push of nostalgia, anniversary tours can be a total disaster as they’re usually a Chuck E. Cheese matinee that’s full of apathetic cover songs. That is, if they don’t involve CIRCA SURVIVE. The Philadelphia outfit stopped by Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall earlier this week (October 28th) and did their part to revive the word “timeless” – playing 2005’s Juturna in full while RX BANDITS and CITIZEN opened with their own violent waves of alternative (Gemini, Her Majesty and Everybody Is Going To Heaven are must owns). All puns aside, the show was a beautiful example of intensity and one that can only really be explained through a photographer’s lens. Check out our gallery above via Jeff Filman.
