New York’s SPIN Magazine held their 14th annual SXSW day party at Stubb’s BBQ on Friday (March 18th) and while it featured an absurd all-star cast, it was all about the alternative/punk acts. Vancouver’s WHITE LUNG teased their upcoming album Paradise with a head-splitting recital of chaos while DEFTONES put everyone into a chokehold at three o’clock in the afternoon — cutting in and out of “Diamond Eyes”, “Swerve City”, and “Digital Bath” (with Bushwick Bill).
