Last weekend, THE BEACHES partook in a quick one-off at Toronto’s Bovine Sex Club and to be fair, it was undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of Canadian Music Week. The local foursome — comprised of Jordan and Kylie Miller, Leandra Earl, and Eliza Enman McDaniel — put their own strain of mid-’00s alt-pop on blast and wasted no time in unraveling a barrage of hooks, fills, and Elephant-sized riffs that live to make you weak in the knees.
