New York’s GOVERNORS BALL was unfortunately cut short due to a bout of “extreme weather”, but with their curation skills at their side, they still managed to close things off on a high note. The fest’s second day (June 4th) was a blissed-out hub for food trucks, Pablo merch, and off-the-cuff odes to Purple Rain, and it never held back as it hosted sets from PURITY RING, THE KILLERS, DE LA SOUL, HAIM, MIGUEL, and THUNDERCAT. The elements were a bit much but given Gov Ball’s track record, their 2017 bash is bound to rule. Check out our photo sets below via Matt Jumper.
