Earlier this week (Oct. 16th), DIE ANTWOORD flipped Toronto’s Rebel (aka Sound Academy) upside down and tagged their month-long rollout with a headliner that felt like an incendiary piece of ecstasy. Ninja and Yolandi Visser’s set paid homage to their new Zef record Mount Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid, but it also rave rapped its way through TEN$ION, Donker Mag, and a lethal one-two closer (“I Don’t Care”, “Enter The Ninja”) that should have won a Grammy.
