Despite it being somewhat of a weird week, Pennsylvania’s BALANCE & COMPOSURE headlined The Opera House on Saturday (November 12th) and gave everyone a reason to find solace in art. The group’s Toronto stop featured opening sets from FOXING and MERCURY GIRLS, and it concluded with a dizzying nightcap that spun together older works (“More To Me”, “When I Come Undone”) and newer vices (“Spinning”, “Mediocre Love”) that underlined the charm, beauty, and ingenuity of Light We Made. The latter is one of the year’s best records so give it a listen, (re)discover Ariana and Dealer, and check out our photo gallery above (via Jeff Filman).
