The 17th edition of Wavelength Music Festival took place this past weekend (Feb. 17th-19th) and with some help from the folks at Red Bull Sound Select, they renewed Toronto’s sentiment for small music clubs. Their Friday night showcase at The Garrison (1197 Dundas St. W) shredded through various layers of indie rock as VALLENS introduced noise-gaze, DIANA grooved through Familiar Touch, and Montreal’s TOPS looped into new riffs and old faves (“Picture You Staring”… ** swoon **).
