Photos: Thundercat at Danforth Music Hall

Need a bit of jazz in your life? Well, there’s THUNDERCAT. The L.A. maestro — formally known as Stephen Bruner — recently turned heads with his new full-length Drunk and on Tuesday (Feb. 28th) he brought the record to life with a huge marquee show at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. His 25-song set kicked out FlyLo collabs and a cover of George Duke’s “For Love I Come”, but it put his life’s work on blast as he found a King Boxer groove and slapped his way through Drunk, Apocalypse, and a myriad of killer one-offs (“Daylight”, “Hard Times”). For a glimpse of the show that was, check out our photo gallery above via Matt Jumper.
