Floating around in his own rift of time and space, FATHER JOHN MISTY recently partook in a double-header at Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre that was all about human connection. His first headliner (May 5th) was a precursor for his fall tour but it ended up being so much more as his 18-song set retraced Pure Comedy, Fear Fun, and I Love You, Honeybear, and ended with a one-two punch of “The Memo” and “Holy Shit”. It avoided The History Of Caves but for good reason as the night saw J. Tillman embracing a grander form of entertainment. Check out photos above via Hannah Jor.
