Photos: Metallica at Rogers Centre

Swooping in like a bat out of hell, METALLICA took over the Rogers Centre on Sunday (July 16th) and strung together one of their most electrifying performances in years. The Toronto stop had a number of bells and whistles — including pyro rigs, fireworks, and 50-foot video walls — but the night belonged to their set as it dug up “The Unforgiven” and “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and even tore through “One”, “Hit The Lights”, “Sad But True”, and “Nothing Else Matters”. All in all, it showed how satisfyingly vicious their WorldWired Tour has been so check out our stills above via Steve St. Jean.
