With the weekend firing on all cylinders, WAYHOME hit a new gear on Saturday (July 29th) and hand-delivered one of its best single-day lineups to date. The outdoor festival found some success with its onsite attractions and indie market pop-ups (shout out Outpost Vintage) but the day rightfully belonged to acts such as Schoolboy Q, Solange, PUP, Death From Above, and Ryan Hemsworth who drilled their way into the hearts of pretty much everyone. Toronto’s Jazz Cartier caught a wave as he jumped off a poutine truck mid-“Dead Or Alive” (see here) and Mura Masa closed things out with a coda that pushed some “big chunes for your head top” (“Nuggets”, “Messy Love”). If you missed out, then check out our live stills below via Maggie Elizabeth.
