With their U.S. tour underway, PORTUGAL. THE MAN recently blessed Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall with a pair of shows that upped the bliss. Night #1 (Aug. 17th) opened with some controversy but it didn’t stop the Portlanders from sliding into vibrant covers of Pink Floyd and Metallica while openly penciling out Woodstock, Evil Friends, and In The Mountain In The Cloud. Each LP excerpt hit like a baseball bat to the chest and for PTM fans, it pieced together a definitive gig that blocked out the noise and set a few hearts free.
