With a new extended play on shelves, Long Island bros Brian & Michael D’Addario — aka THE LEMON TWIGS — swung by Toronto’s Lee’s Palace for back-to-back shows that literally kicked out the jams. Their Saturday closer (Sep. 23rd) rollerbladed through Do Hollywood and other numbers such as “Night Song” and Jonathan Richman’s “You Can’t Talk To The Dude”, and it did a stand-up job at deconstructing ’60s and ’70s touchstones and how they are capable of hitting the soul with panache.
