Welp, it’s finally happening: THE WONDER YEARS are back. After teasing a new album and announcing a UK tour with Sorority Noise, the Philadelphia heroes have shared a brand new single called “Sister Cities” (see above). The track finds each band member digging into an entirely new sound and one with ties to the record’s various themes of “distance, connectivity, and the way humanity towers above its boundaries”. As vocalist Dan Campbell noted in a press release:
“It started with journals and photos. We started by documenting. We didn’t know where it would go or if it would go anywhere at all but we wrote it all down. We took photos of everything. And then when it came to put it altogether, we had this catalog of how we felt and what it looked like and sounded like and we built from there.”
