Photos: Robert Plant at Massey Hall

Five words: ROBERT PLANT’s still got it. The 60-something rock ‘n’ roll icon recently played a packed show at Toronto’s Massey Hall (February 17th) and it turned out to be a transcendent reminder of his ability to just slay you with his voice. His 15-song set with the Sensational Shape Shifters band was a tight knit affair that started with “Turn It Up” and “The May Queen” and morphed into something celestial with Plant crooning through the likes of “Gallows Pole”, “That’s The Way”, “Misty Mountain Hop”, and “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You”. It wasn’t a full Led Zeppelin tribute, but for a few hundred fans it was a taste of what could be and what it’s like to see a legend find their groove. Check out our photos above (via Troy Black).
