The Flushing food expert known as ACTION BRONSON is no stranger thing to Austin’s SXSW festival and it’s why his sole appearance at this year’s festivities turned out to be a shooting star elbow drop to the face. The StubHub showcase at Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden (on March 15th) featured opening sets from CUCO and WAVVES, but it was predominately all about Bam Bam as he glided through a 12-song set that revisited Mr. Wonderful and Blue Chips 7000, and the hits that come with. It was an absolute trip — sort of like diving head-first into the greatest chicken parm ever while Lionel Richie nails an a capella of Can’t Slow Down in the background — so swipe through our live stills above (courtesy of Troy Black).
