Much to the surprise of no one, Melbourne’s G FLIP — aka Georgia Flipo — absolutely owned SXSW and her Thursday night set at Austin’s Lucille Bar (March 15th) was solid proof. The 24-year-old grooved into “About You” and the ambitious flow that has made it a viral smash but her ability to tangle with layers of chart pop, show off some killer pipes, and do so while rotating between instruments (and drum solos) is just out of this world.
