Photos: King Krule at Rebel Toronto

Being his old Zoo Kid self, Archy Marshall — aka KING KRULE — headlined at Toronto’s Rebel Nightclub on Sunday (April 29th) and illustrated why he’s considered to be one of the most prolific songwriters of the past decade. The London native chewed up the lakeside spot and went full Ooz — tapping into “Dum Surfer”, “Logos”, and a replay of 6 Feet Beneath The Moon that had everyone questioning whether or not nostalgia is a drug. The entire concert hit like a jagged arrow to the heart, but the way in which he steered “Half Man Half Shark” into “Baby Blue” and “Easy Easy” is some shit that’s just out of this world. Check out his new Live On The Moon vid for “Molten Jets” and swipe through our live stills above (via Maggie Elizabeth).
