Photos: Pitchfork Fest 2015 (Sunday)

Here’s a fun fact for you: the folks behind PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL love Sundays. It may not be 100% true, but every year they seemingly find a way to book a no-filler lineup that draws people out of their Gatorade k-holes for one last hurrah at Union Park. Luckily, this year stuck to the game plan. The afternoon spotted the likes of COURTNEY BARNETT, FREDDIE GIBBS & MADLIB, SINGLE MOTHERS, WAXAHATCHEE, MOURN, and HOW TO DRESS WELL only to lead into a Sunday evening firing squad that included JAMIE XX, CLARK, and RUN THE JEWELS. Upon nightfall, Chicago’s own CHANCE THE RAPPER closed out the weekend with an 11-song set that reinforced his hometown hero status and the festival’s knack for simple pleasures. As one attendee noted during “Cocoa Butter Kisses”, Pitchfork is just “good at keeping it real”.

Photographer Victoria Sanders was at the park so check out her stills above and revisit her galleries of Friday and Saturday’s festivities
