GOING LIVE: Kasabian

KASABIAN
KOOL HAUS, TORONTO / MAR. 29TH

It’s funny how a song like KASABIAN’s “Club Foot” could still, after eight years, tap your spine and the hairs on your neck once it’s rhythm invades your space. At a live show, it completely obliterates your senses. Halfway through the Brit vets’ set at a sold-out Kool Haus in Toronto, the atmosphere and the goosebump-inducing electricity was figuratively on fire with sing-a-longs, snippets of The Doors and bangers like “Days Are Forgotten” and “Underdog” inflating the word “memorable”. Take in the Leicester group’s encore which included “Switchblade Smiles”, “Vlad The Impaler” and “Fire”, it’s hard to comprehend that anyone had actually made it out of the lakeside venue alive.
