Buzz Records sure know how to party. On a Wednesday night stocked with indie hybrids (Dan Croll, Autre Ne Veut, Mutual Benefit), the Toronto rec label slapped on their favourite pair of North By Northeast pants and went to town with a pro-mosh showcase at Smiling Buddha. TEEN TITS WILD WIVES knuckled down and riffed out, MEXICAN SLANG scraped everyone’s ears with The Velvet Castle, and GREYS went for the jugular and the carotid arteries by putting If Anything on display. Fellow Buzzers THE BEVERLEYS also made a surprise appearance (it is NXNE) and their energy tore through a room that eventually needed a change of clothes and a gaggle of psychiatrists for all the sweet damage that was done to their brains. So yes, Buzz Records rule. Check out our live stills below and party on.
