Need a pick-me-up? Take a second to revisit LITTLE DRAGON. The Swedish trip pop auteurs released one of last year’s most underrated records and they backed that factoid with their showing at the Danforth Music Hall on Sunday (May 31st). The foursome aren’t really strangers to Toronto, but the way they weaved Nabuma Rubberband with Ritual Union cuts and heady favourites (“My Step”, “Blinking Pigs”) on a stage is euphoric to say the least. Yukimi Nagano and her counterparts illicit an alluring chemistry in a live setting and the “oomph” they add to their set leaves you hanging on to every track. Why? Because you want every audible moment to last forever. If you missed the headliner, check out Hannah Jor’s gallery above.
