With the Toronto skyline shimmering in the background, MY MORNING JACKET and BAND OF HORSES reintroduced the spines of Louisville/South Carolina alternative to a city that often forgets its flawless appeal. Masked by the lights of Echo Beach, intricacy and intensity never seemed to dim with the opening five-piece providing a quick glimpse of Mirage Rock and old favourites. To close out, Jim James provoked versatility to be his best asset as his group’s string work sketched stimulating jams that embraced every tinge to the warm night sky.
